This was a wonderful listen. I think we should all "say thank you and shut up" when we're told compliments. But it is so hard, for sure!

I came across this during a real crisis point, I listened to it at night and found myself trying to put into action the techniques in the days that followed and found that it certainly helped me start to question the way I was thinking about myself. I am improving but I still have a long way to go. I am on the waiting list for some CBT which could take some time so it is good to feel like I am taking some steps forward. There is so much advice about depression out there that can confuse and swap a depressed mind and also a lot of people ready to cash in on a desperate person trying to find answers. I like that this website makes no bold claims and it is what it is. I hope that made sense. Thanks

Next podcast is due in about a weeks time, looking at exercise and depression. Then a second CBT program is on the cards. Thanks for listening - Justin

I have suffered with depression for most of my adult life, and although much much better now (in my 40's) I am prone to 'episodes' which are usually triggered off by an event. This podcast on CBT was great to listen to and I will certainly be using the techniques! Look forward to the next podcast - thank you
